Mobile World Congress, Barcelona – February 16th, 2009 – Plantronics, Inc. (NYSE: PLT) today announced the introduction of two new Discovery® 925 colours, Royal Blush and Majestic Purple, to the award-winning Bluetooth® signature earpiece collection.
This is Plantronics first premium performance Bluetooth headset to be offered in a variety of fashionable colours, and the Discovery 925 has already received high praise from media, celebrities and consumers, and received Consumer Reports’ coveted “Top 100 Products of 2008” designation. In January, the Discovery 925 was recognized as the overall leader in the “Voice of the Consumer” report conducted by 7B Labs*. The independent report evaluated hundreds of consumer reviews for several “high-end” Bluetooth headsets and the Discovery 925 won six of nine product categories evaluated, including incoming/outgoing sound, comfort/fit and simplicity.
